HF Rig

I picked up a second hand HF rig from an old operator who literally lived around the corner from me. It is an old Icom-735, considered quite a respectable unit.

So far I have strung up a 10m dipole which I can contact a local 10m repeater which is nice. And yesterday I strung up a 40m OCF dipole, I wanted to make it 80m but ran out of room. My balun might be a little on the small side, so I plan to make another 4:1 current balun on a larger torroid.

Will definitely string up an 80m OCF at the farm, plenty of room and tall trees.
