silver laced wyndotte

We have taken three bantams down to the farm, probably slightly sooner than intended, due to a complaint by a neighbour about Ronnie’s crowing during the day! However, all has worked out well, and it is enjoying to see them scratching about in the house orchard. They are attractive looking birds and we can now save their eggs for breeding, as they are seperated from the other mixed breeds of bantams (all hens) stil at Heathmont. I have put a dozen fertile eggs under two of the clucky hens at Heathmont, and will hopefully have some chickens in a few weeks. It is quite possible I have already sold them. I don’t think I will have any difficulty in finding any extra’s a home
